We tend to rely too much on our deaf advocacy organizations from NAD to State Association of the Deaf.
Why not mobilize some human rights organizations and other organizations to fight the inequality of language development within deaf and hearing babies during their crucial visuo-spatial periods?

I beg to disagree. Look at Carol Padden, the most famous author of a plethora of books on deaf culture as well as a critic of
cochlear implant. Yet, Gallaudet appointed her as a member of the
BoT. Again, Gallaudet appopinted another outspoken deaf advocate
Tom Humphries (co-author with the aforementioned Carol Padden).
What I want on the BoT are young women known as Generation X. They are much more realistic. Their logic is much more clear. Look at Sharon Duchesneau's brilliant vlog on Bob's Vlog on SLCC. Astute analyst. That is a very improtant asset in a member for the BoT. Grey-haired members are out and get Generation X ones are in in this new millennium. Hope you will change your perspective or come into full realisation.
