MasterASL Curriculum: Respond to David M & Other ASL Instructors

My teaching experience using MasterASL for the first time last fall.

Funny-- I just happened to use ONE page from MasterASL for first time today! Some pictures of MAPS since it is more detailed than any other resources from LASL, SN, et cetera...
It is colorful, indeed-- to grab their attention!
Thank you for posting your opinion...It is quite an important insight since I don't want my ASL students to use English as their crutch to learn ASL. It is not the right approach, imo-- because so many people assumed ASL *is* English which is so wrong. So that myth needs to be broken first thing in the classes.
About MasterASL-- a colleague ordered it and hasn't used it, but offered to other teachers at the community college. So I am sure they will appreciate when I share this vlog with them!

hey were in an asl class and we are required to research some sources for a movie can you help us out a little the movie is called "at first sight" our class is using the master asl book for the first time this year and i agree the book really is colorful and easy to use it is really really really fun

Master ASL is really design for High School.

One idea, maybe you can combine both of those books in teaching? Like use some from MASL just pick some of them you feel good information use them while you use Sign Naturally Vista book.?
